Respite Care Guidelines and Procedures
Eligibility
Respite will be provided to members of The Arc Grosse Pointe/Harper Woods only.Inquiries
Respite inquiries are made to Joan McCarty, chairman of the Respite Committee, by e-mail or by calling 313-417-0266.Repiste Reimbursement Procedures
- A letter outlining the agreed upon respite reimbursement will be sent to the Arc member.
- The Arc member must complete the Respite Reimbursement form and mail it to:

Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236 - A copy of the invoice for respite services kmust be included for payment to be made.
- On-going respite requests will be renewed and reimbursed monthly.
Reimbursement rates
- Family or friend: $8/hour
- Nurses Aide: $15/hour (documentation of qualifications required)
- Registered nurse: $30/hour (documentation of qualifications required)
